Condemn attack on the Gaza flotilla

Brazen attack on the six ships of Gaza flotilla which set off from Cyprus carrying humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza strip on early hours of 31st May by the commando forces of Zionist Israel once again exposes the aggressive, barbarous nature of the rulers of this rouge state. It also exposes how Obama administration is rescuing this brute force in Israel. For years 1.5 million people living in 360 sq. kilometers are under blockade. Even humanitarian assistance by UN agencies is not allowed to reach the people. It is in protest against this fascist act humanitarian activists from a number of countries got together and the flotilla was organized. That the Israeli commandos have killed nine unarmed people in a sudden attack, injured more than 60 people and took many others in to custody preventing the assistance from reaching the besieged people call for stringent condemnation of the brutal act. Even the ships going to Gaza were taken in to custody with the announcement that Israel will   not allow any form of break in its blockade of Gaza.  The Israeli authorities are arrogantly repeating blatant lies to justify their aggressive acts. Emboldened with the continuing support of US imperialists and the impotent stand of number of Arab states, the Zionists are in effect challenging world public opinion against its pernicious acts.
That the US  imperialists are not ready to condemn this attack, that they are not ready to go beyond expressing mere regret show how they are aiding  and abetting the Zionist fascists ruling Israel. Even after Turkish president daring to condemn the state terrorism of the Zionists the US could sabotage even an impartial, credible investigation in to these brutal acts of Israeli authorities. Majority of the Arab heads of states toeing US line are not ready to condemn Israel.
The situation is not different here. Except for some superfluous statements, the UPA government is not ready to take initiative either to get the blockade lifted or to severely condemn the Zionist attack on the Gaza flotilla. It is the responsibility of all left and democratic  forces to express full solidarity with the Palestine people, to raise their voice  against blockade of Gaza strip and to demonstrate in whichever way possible so that it hurts the Zionist barbarians and the US administration which backs them.
